I am so excited! I found an awesome opportunity for Sissy. She will be starting classes at Knitter's Kove on Thursday! She will be going to class one hour once a week through the end of July! I can't wait - not only will she get to learn to knit, but I will get one hour every week at the yarn store!!! This is a win-win. Maybe instead of writing the "what I did this summer" essay, she can show a cabled scarf.I have this idea that as Sissy grows, she can have an outlet for stress and creativity and the confidence of knowing that she has mastered a skill that most other kids haven't even glanced at. I may be getting a little ahead of myself, though. She probably needs to learn to tie her shoelaces too....
